  • Input mode: From circular buffer

Configuration Parameter Selectable Option/Value Description
Database Path Enter the path for the database file in SD card.
SQL size Size of the SQL command
Buffer Name <available circular buffers in the model file> Select the circular buffer from which the data should be inserted to the database
Table Name Enter the table name in the database to which the data should be inserted.
Column names Enter the names of the columns of the specified table to which the data should be inserted.
Number of samples to be read at once This number of data rows will be inserted to the database during a single execution of INSERT command.

When to use this block?

This block is used to run SQL commands that do not return data.

How does this block work?

For this block to function ‘esp32_sd’ setup block should be available in the model file.

  • Input mode: From input port
In this mode the block will take the input command and convert to SQL.
  • Input mode: From circular buffer
In this mode the block will take data from the specified circular buffer directly and insert into the database. This method is more secure way to ensure that data gets saved in the database at specified frequency.
